HEELP...

Can someone please tell me the name and whereabouts of a simple curve plotting program for MAC or UNIX which will plot functions for me? Everytime I see a function that I am unable to clearly visualize, my heart sinks like a painfully slow ebbing wave and my face cringes with helplessness...

How about MATLAB, or I think even MAPLE in Apple can do this

Howard Zinn's book is very interesting and revealing about the facts that are forgotten or obfuscated by traditional versions of history. Heard his lecture on the Stories Hollywood Does not Tell.
Which convinces me that the truth about the past wont ever be told and history will always be for a historian - 'His Story'.

Hello from another Puneite and Ferguson alum in Decatur. For the curve plotting you might try Excel.

Hirak, Zinn is really a brilliant writer. And you are right about History. It's essentially a product of our collective consciousness. And perspectives make a huge difference. Zinn has done the admirable job of presenting the perspective of the underdog. My favorite take on History is this: Consider how History would have looked like if it had been completely written from the perspective of women?! That convinced me more than anyting else of its biased nature!
And thanks for the recommendation.
